CSPS Hall is a landmark building on the National Register of Historic Places and  is known today as Eastern Iowa’s center for contemporary art, music and theatre. Following an epic flood in 2008, the building underwent a $7-million makeover, re-opening in time for Labor Day 2011. The renovated structure today houses three galleries, two theatres, a conference room, a classroom, and an arts incubator, all under the management of the award-winning nonprofit, Legion Arts. Ground floor tenants include Next Page Books, New Bo Mercantile, and Delve Studio DIY. Owned and operated by the artist-run non-profit Legion Arts, the former Czech social hall hosts live music from around US and around the world, as well as live theatre, dance and visual art.

Along with living spaces, the upper floor of many buildings in the district hold office space. If you are ever looking for a unique location for your business venture, call the Main Street Office for suggestions.
