Czech Village New Bohemia Main Street District Executive Committee and its Board of Directors are delighted to announce the naming of Abby Huff as the organization’s Executive Director.
Abby has previous Main Street experience through her work in Story City, Iowa, as the Executive Director, as well as the Chamber and Economic Development Director for the City. Throughout her time in Story City, she worked closely with business owners, property owners, residents, developers, county and state officials to enhance Story City and the district.
Prior to joining Czech Village – New Bohemia Main Street as the Director, she was a Preservation and Incentives Specialist at Hobart Historic Restoration (HHR) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Abby has a Master of Fine Arts in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the University of Northern Iowa.
Abby has been a volunteer and active member of several committees with the Czech Village – New Bohemia Main Street District since she moved back to Cedar Rapids.
